1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using honestwordsapp.com (the "Service"), operated by HonestWords ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HonestWords provides AI-generated personalized written content, including but not limited to wedding vows, speeches, toasts, eulogies, and resignation letters. Each purchase is a one-time transaction for a single piece of generated content delivered digitally.

3. Purchases & Payment

All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and are charged at the time of checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the payment method provided for the total amount of your order.

• Best Man / Maid of Honor Speech — $24.00
• Parent of the Bride/Groom Toast — $24.00
• Personalized Eulogy — $29.00
• Resignation Letter + Verbal Script — $14.00

4. Digital Content Delivery

Upon successful payment, your personalized content is generated and delivered via a private, time-limited link. Content is available for download for 24 hours after generation. After this period, content is permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered. It is your responsibility to download and save your content within this timeframe.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our digital products, the following refund policy applies:

Eligible for Refund

• Technical failure: If our system fails to generate your content after payment, you will receive a full refund automatically.
• Duplicate charges: If you are charged more than once for the same order, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
• Content not delivered: If you do not receive your content within 10 minutes of payment and our support team cannot resolve the issue, you are entitled to a full refund.

Not Eligible for Refund

• Dissatisfaction with the style, tone, or content of the generated text (you have full editorial control to modify the output).
• Failure to download content within the 24-hour availability window.
• Providing incorrect or incomplete form information that affects the quality of generated content.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your payment confirmation or session ID. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Cancellation

Since each transaction is a one-time purchase (not a subscription), there is no recurring billing to cancel. Once a payment is submitted and content generation has begun, the transaction cannot be cancelled. If you wish to cancel before completing checkout, simply close the payment page.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

Upon purchase and delivery, you receive full, unrestricted rights to use, edit, and distribute the generated content for personal use. HonestWords does not claim ownership of your generated content. We do not retain, reuse, or redistribute your content after the 24-hour delivery window.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All content is generated by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. While we strive for high-quality output, we do not guarantee that generated content will be error-free, factually accurate, or suitable for every occasion without editing. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all content before use. HonestWords is a drafting tool — final editorial decisions are yours.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HonestWords shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or any damages resulting from the use or inability to use generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product in question.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or that infringes on any third party's rights. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
